Front, reverse and finished size

Send separate artwork for the front and reverse. State the finished diameter or width and height for a custom outline, together with your preferred thickness. Mark raised and recessed areas, small lettering and any colour-filled details. Ask for the design to be reviewed at the actual coin size before approval.

Metal finish, edge and colour

Include a finish reference rather than relying only on descriptions such as shiny or antique. Identify the metal colour, coloured areas and preferred edge appearance. Material, relief, edge treatment and colour process are reviewed against your artwork and confirmed in the quotation.

Quantity, presentation and delivery

List pieces per design and finish. Tell us whether you need individual bags, display packaging or a gift box, and whether artwork is required on the pack. Include the delivery country, postcode and required arrival date so production and shipping transit can be considered separately.

What to check before approving a coin sample

Compare the sample with the approved specification: dimensions, front and reverse orientation, readable text, raised detail, finish and packing. Record any requested change before bulk production. Ask for the unit price, sampling or setup charges and shipping to be shown separately when comparing suppliers.

Can different coin designs be combined in one inquiry?

Yes, list each design and its quantity separately so each specification can be reviewed. For example, two designs at 50 pieces each means 100 pieces total. Do not describe the total alone if the artwork, size or finish differs between designs.
